Capitol Hyundai is a friendly and efficiently run service center. They presented the possible additional services but were not pushing the ones that I didn't want. The car was done earlier than estimated.
I brought my 1985 Hyundai Sonata in to have 2 more recalls taken care of. Jessie came out to meet me at my car, took the keys and got my paperwork submitted right away. I opted to wait for my car in the waiting area, which is very nice by the way. I was told it might be 3 hours. I questioned that since I made an appointment and was told the service would take 30 minutes. I asked "why make an appointment then"? My car was finished and I was NOT notified, verbally anyway. Last visit was pretty rough. My 11 month old Ioniq5 needed to be towed to the dealership on a Sunday. Got a call on Monday acknowledging my car was there and I described what had happened. Agent told me it was likely my fault for 'not driving the car enough'. Then no contact for 8 days. No updates, no messages. They finally get to the work (never provided a pre work quote) and when I pick up the car what we discussed 12 days prior was not complete, which I discovered when I got home. The service team is terrible. Still having issues with my car. Have left several messages and no call back. There is little to no communication when they have your car.
I had an appointment for 8:00 am, arrived at 7:40 am and was the second person at the shop. Immediately I was told that the techs were behind from yesterday’s work and that normal checkout on my new EV at 10,000 was going to take 4-6 hours. I then had to book myself a Lyft because I only have one car and needed to return to work. I never want to go back here to have my car serviced here. You don’t even offer complimentary ride home when my inspection was meant to take only half an hour.
Long wait despite appointment and my on time arrival. Took 1030am to 445pm for a basic checkup at one year possession. No repairs involved.
My advisor was helpful. The initial arrival by other staff a little less of an enthusiastic welcome as a new car owner. Imagine your a Lexus dealer it’s that level of attentiveness needed.

Ended up driving over 100 miles to purchase my Ford F-250 at Capitol Ford. I spoke with several local dealerships before ultimately choosing to make the drive, and I’m glad I did. While my experience was top notch, I want to give special recognition to my salesman, Robert. Texted several times over the course of a week or so. Solid and clear communication and was never pushy in providing answers to my varied questions. I highly recommend Capitol Ford, and suggest you speak with Robert when visiting the dealership.
My tire pressure comes up with 3 pressures. For example the front tires are set at 36 and my back left tire is set at 35 and my back right tire pressure is set at 34. This isn't normal,
I love my car and most of my experience. I still haven't received my second key fob or the key to unlock the handles to step up to reach the top of the car.
It was a pleasure dealing with the staff. We requested a test drive on March and they accomodated. They gave us guidance on returning our leased vehicle and was not aggressive even if we were not able to close a deal on that day. Purchasing the vehicle in June was a breeze.

Relatively good experience, but the used car buying experience could be improved. The issue stems from the "sell-at-all-costs" philosophy that most dealerships have, including this one. In my case, I wanted to get an inspection before purchasing a used car - a normal part of the buying process. Will they allow 24 hours for the task? This review is for Rolf Wick. The repair shop reported to him that they had completed two of the requested services but had not and I had to return on a separate occasion. Rolf was very kind and communicative throughout on both visits and in between via text. I've not had issues in the past at Capitol Hyundai so I will give this visit a pass but glad I'm working with Rolf going forward. And in general, the team at Capitol has been very friendly and helpful.

In the past working with dealerships has not been among my most favorite activities, but with Capital's Mohamed Elsayed assisting our process it was a relatively painless process. The icing on the cake, or perhaps the cherry on top, was having our car delivered to our house within hours from finalizing the contract. That was unexpected, so thank you.

This dealership quoted me $817 to replace two hood struts. I declined. A friend of mine subsequently installed them, for free, in less than 6 minutes for both. I believe this dealership was trying to take advantage of a (female) customer. Although I mother was a long-time customer, they will never see me again.

We have been using Capitol Hyundai service for several years. I especially appreciate how the dealership backs up its service. After a recent.scheduled maintenance, we discovered the overheat light turning on on the way home. Ken, our technical advisor, scheduled a free tow and a free diagnostic to determine the cause, as the car had just been serviced. It turned out the. coolant reservoir cover had not been replaced correctly. We all make mistakes occasionally, so what impresses me is Capitol Hyundai taking responsibility forthose inadvertent events.

This comment has nothing to do with this visit, but you didn't send me an opportunity to rate you on my previous visit, because you actually sent me & many others home, even though we had an appointment!!! Apparently due to a lack of technicians. I do 100% blame this on the management team. Hope they find the corporate support to prevent this from happening again. That's where it starts.

The people at Capitol Hyundai, especially Mo El Sayed, were easy to work with. He felt more like an advisor than a salesperson, which I find much more tolerable to work with when making a big financial decision. Had an excellent experience working with Simmon and Billy on a recent vehicle lease at Capitol Hyundai. • Simmon was highly responsive from the start. He provided a very competitive initial quote and maintained clear, direct communication throughout the process. • Billy handled the delivery phase with absolute professionalism. The vehicle was detailed, fully charged, and ready exactly on schedule; the final paperwork was entirely frictionless with zero last-minute surprises.
2nd lease from Capitol Hyundai. Called in advance, had 850 credit score. Arranged to pick up a specific vehicle. Expressed my concern that it would take a long time to leave first lease and to sign papers for new lease. Assured it would be quick.
I was not going to complain as they were busy the day I came in but it did take just shy of 4 hours and this was with everything pre-arranged, costs, vehicle choice, excellent credit, return customer.

Horrible customer experience from drop off to pick up. We dropped off a Santa Fe which is our primary family car for a family of 4 with 2 kids under 2 so car seats, strollers, etc. all needed. The rep initially insisted only sedan loaners were available, with no empathy or kindness. Only when we pushed did she say a Tucson, which is slight smaller, was available.
